2012 is almost over. I believed everybody is looking forward for a better and prosperous New Year 2013. Everybody wants to live a happy, peaceful and abundant life with all the basic wants and needs provided in our day to day living. Right folks?
I am thankful that during the past months of 2012, we had accomplished a lot. Minor and major renovation in our home and garden were done and some are just started.
In the coming year 2013, we plan to finish other home and garden projects. Here are some in our list;
Garden Furniture- We have a garden set but it is made of plastic. We are planning to replace it with wooden garden furniture. I hope this will be materialized next year. When most of our major projects are done, for sure we can buy a better one.
Garden Lights and Lighting- Since we built our patio, I have no idea where did I put our solar lights for our garden. I guess they are not working anymore because they already obsolete. I am planning to buy new ones next year.
Garden House- We still have a little space left for a garden house. I only have plants and flowers in our garden but if we will build a garden house next year, I would surely plant organic vegetables like tomatoes, cucumber, eggplant, beans and others.
Fish Tank- I have a big one of this in my home country. If we are done with our bathroom and kitchen renovations early next year, I would love to buy a little fist tank with maybe around 30-40 litres size. I saw one in my friend's house last month and it reminds me of the one I have back home. Watching the fishes swimming and the accessories inside feel so relaxing.

Five Ideas To Design Your Garden
I know there are a lot of people out there who love gardening. Some might not be experts on how to design a garden (just like me) or doing some landscapes. Thanks to the garden designs and ideas from Lovereading.co.uk. Here are some of the design inspirations for all of us.
1) Water Features
Water fountains, either simple or elaborate can bring lusciousness to your garden. In conjunction with fauna in a secluded part of garden you can have a peaceful area that is calming to look at. Even the simple feature of adding a bird bath can give many moments of enjoyment by watching birds flock to it to bathe.
some of the flowers in our garden..its highlight is the castle tower that is very near to our garden.
2) Tiered gardens
Bringing levels to your garden adds a complexity and can draw the eye to many different focal points. Planter and gardening boxes can be hung or arranged strategically throughout and is perfect if you would like to have more mobility in designing the grounds.
3) Sculpture
Adding a piece of sculpture here and there in your garden is a great way to accent a plain area into something more. Garden gnomes aside, there are many stone masons who craft beautiful and long lasting images, they can range from modern and contemporary garden ornament pieces to more traditional and Neo-classical designs of varying sizes.
4) Inspired Moments from Traveling
If you're an avid traveler or had a grand experience visiting part of the world, why not have your garden reflect the sights of what you've seen? Perhaps bring a bit of a specific culture into your backyard as a means to remember fond moments in your travels? Gerniums reminiscent of Italy, a Buda from Asia, even if you haven't traveled there, you can capture the feelings and images that are very familiar of that part of the world.
5) Fauna and Flora
With the simple addition of adding fauna and flora to your garden, you can completely change the look of your garden into something spectacular. Going for a lush look? If you have a shady garden to begin with, adding some ferns or ornamental grasses is a wonderful way to beautify your garden. With just the right colors of flowers in full bloom you can have an eye catching array of flora. Keep in mind leaves of plants can always add a bit of zeal to a listless garden depending on type when flowers are not in bloom.
For those who have children and have a huge garden space, you can also add wooden swings for your children to play and enjoy. I would love to have one but our garden is not so big.
