A Golf Holiday

Spain is a beautiful country. With its diverse culture, lively nightlife, beautiful beaches, historic sites and cities, world famous folklore and festivals, Spain has been a dream country to visit for many tourists worldwide.

I am so lucky to visit this country and I can say, I will keep on coming back there when time and financial aspects are possible. I have been there twice and maybe in my next visit I would love to experience some Golf Holidays in Spain.  I was  thinking the past months that spending a golf holiday can be a   unique and enjoyable experience. For a first timer like me, I believed it will be full of fun and challenges.

Cruising Europe-One of the Best Way to Discover the Continent

Before I left Europe last August 2012 for a month holiday  in the United States, I was exchanging messages with a compatriot from Australia who was planning for a cruise in Europe. He said that he booked one of the most affordable Cruise Deals he found online.  I was exchanging messages with him again in facebook and told me that their cruise in Europe was one of the best travel experiences that he and his wife had experienced. I  am s happy for him after our conversation.

I agree that one of the best ways to see Europe is through cruises. This is true especially if you found Cheap Cruises that represent value for your money. Many cruise holiday come as a complete package including flights, accommodation and all meals included in the price and what meals they are.

Interesting facts about Crete

Crete is not just an island full of towns and beaches it is branded by mountain ranges and vast expanses of orchards. An impressive natural spectacle is given by the splendid gorge of Samaria. Here are a few interesting facts about Crete to get you started on your vacation.

The largest of the Greek Islands Crete is divided into four administrative regions: Iraklion, Rethimnon, Chania and Lassitiki. The island's capital Iraklion has a population of over 130 000 inhabitants. Separating Europe from Africa the Aegean and the Libyan seas stream against the island. Characterized by the diversity of its territory Crete has miles of beaches and fertile highlands, but moreover it is branded by the presence of three mountain ranges with peaks of over 2000 meters.

Crete has mild winters and hot summers. In the mountainous areas the climate is notably different than the rest of the island. The mountains act as a barrier as they protect the island from the winds and clouds.

In the past the island was the territory of the Byzantine and Turkish conquests. The result is a wonderful architectural mix divided between minarets and churches, mosques and cathedrals. You will find in Crete Eastern culture mingles with that of the West. What makes this island paradise even more appealing these days is the array of top quality Hotels in Crete available.

Crete is divided between tourism and tradition. While citizens of Crete have become accustomed to this new style of life that is becoming branded with tourism, on the other hand, there is still a part of the population that still work in agriculture and crafts. An example is in the village of Anogia, where the textile business is practiced. Despite the tourism industry in Crete being very strong the island maintains its folk origins. Among the local people there is a passion for dancing and folk music still present with the most popular dance still being the captivating Sirtaki dance. The island is home to vast orchards full of citrus, cherries, walnuts, almonds and grapes. In the countryside women still carry out traditional activities such as how to wind wool on a spool and work the loom!

The Cretan diet is characterised by its dishes based on fresh meat or fish. Among the dishes is Moussaka a casserole of fried eggplant, ground beef, tomatoes, onions and Greek traditional cheese. Along with the traditional Greek salad, made with feta, tomatoes, olives. Don’t forget to try Tsatsiki, the Greek yoghurt sauce made of cucumbers and garlic seasoned with a little oil and vinegar.

The impressive natural spectacle gorge of Samaria is located forty kilometres from the city of Chania. The length of the gorge stretches 18 kilometres and is considered the longest in Europe. The Samaria Gorge is a UNESCO World Heritage and a national park. Strolling through the park you can see different plant species and wildlife such as weasels, marmots and badgers.

My Top Destinations in Canada

There are a lot of  countries that I wish to visit in this beautiful world. I know that one life is not enough to see everything but I am happy that I have already  seen  some of it.  Isn't it an  awesome experience  visiting almost 30 countries worldwide and still counting. I believed I am a lucky  individual to visit those countries.

One of my travel wishlist was finally fulfilled when I visited Canada lately.  It was one of the  Holidays to Canada that I was dreaming. It was quite a short two-day trip but I was glad  to be  in Vancouver for the first time. My happiness was overwhelming when I stepped on  Canada's land.

There are still a lot of  places that I wish to see and experience in this country. I am hoping that one of these days, I can  visit Canada again.  Canada Holidays are for me an awesome experience. Here are my top places to visit  in my travel list.

Vancouver- I was finally there! I can't believed that  I was able to visit one of the famous cities in  Canada. This coastal city of British Columbia region was a wonderful experience for me. During our two-day visit, I already experienced a lot. I had seen many landmarks and historical  buildings in Vancouver including Canada Place, Vancouver Convention Centre, Stanley Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Capilano Suspension Bridge and many others. For me the highlight of my visit in this city was when I went up to Vancouver Look-up and had a fantastic 360 view of the city.  Special thanks to my dear friend Ate Thelma for driving from Seattle,  Washington to Vancouver. I truly appreciate it.

Toronto- Before I travel to the United States last month, I have some friends from Toronto who were inviting me to visit them. Sad to say, my time and budget  are  limited after visiting many cities  here in the US.  Besides Toronto is  almost  halfway  between Las Vegas  and Germany. I told them that I might visit them once I will be visiting the East Coast part of USA.   Toronto is the largest city in Canada. It is also the  media, entertainment, business, economic and cultural capital of Canada.  It  is well known for famous landmarks like the CN Tower.  There are just a lot of things to do and experience in this  city that is why  it is included in my top destinations in Canada.
View of  Canada Place when we were on top of Vancouver Look-up. I love it there!
Calgary- I have some friends and relatives who are currently living in this city.  I even received a message in facebook if I am including Calgary in my list when I was in Canada.  maybe next time folks, I will visit you.  With  its petroleum  industry and agriculture, this city  is without a doubt a boom-town and a major Canadian financial city.  I would like to feel like a  Rocky Mountaineer when I will visit Vancouver since it is the eastern gateway to the Rocky Mountains.  I will also include in my itinerary a visit to Prince Island Park, Barclay Parade, Chinatown, Olympic Plaza, Stampede Grounds and many many more.

Also included in my top destinations to Canada are Quebec, Halifax, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Montreal.

Kos: Hot or Not?

The Greek Islands have proven party town credentials, and Kardamena in Kos is definitely a scorching hot summer destination, in more ways than one.

It’s probably fair to say that Kardamena might not be as well known as some of Club 18-30's other resorts, such as Ayia Napa or Faliraki, but overlook it at your own risk.

If you love the strong Greek sunshine, you’ll love chilling (or, doing the opposite) on Kardamena beach. Dip a toe in the Aegean Sea to cool down, or jump on a jet ski or banana boat if you want to get well and truly wet.

You can also chill around the biggest pool in Kardamena when you book the Club 18-30 hot spot, the Kardemos Studios and Apartments. Staying in this little two star beauty will also put you in the heart of the action, at just ten minutes away from the legendary Kardemena bar street.

If that’s just not close enough, staying at the Elga Studios puts you slap bang in the middle of two of Kardamena’s best nightclubs – Pepperoni’s and Vibn - so you’ll not have far to go when you desperately need your bed.

At just five minutes from the beach too, the Elga Studios are a great choice if it’s all about the location on your summer party holidays.

You’ll also find a great beachfront club and bar scene, so head to Scala, Starlight Club and Status Club on the seafront (and try saying that ten times fast!)

As always, Club 18-30 reps will keep you busy with parties, clubbing and bar hopping all week long, so there’ll never be a dull moment in Kardamena.

So grab your swimmers and your sunnies and get set to sizzle in Kardamena. This Greek Island destination is definitely hot, hot, hot.

Add some excitement to your summer by vowing to book a ‘fly by the seat of your pants’ last minute holiday deal this year.

Simply wait for a window in your busy schedule and get online to browse the best late holiday deals in some of the most popular summer sun destinations.

Booking late means that you’re likely to find cheap holiday deals, so why not take advantage of getting more for your money and book a far-flung destination like Mexico?

This stunning Caribbean destination offers holidays that dreams are made of. You could make your dreams a reality when you pick up last minute, low cost holiday deals online.

At 12 hours away, Mexico really offers an experience that’s a world away from your usual European summer sun hotspots. Forget the last minute rush around town and instead pick up everything that you need at the airport – from bikinis to Mexican dollars, sun tan lotion to travel plugs and paperbacks – you’ll find it all in the airport shops allowing you to book as last minute as you dare!

Aftersun and insect repellent should also be on your list of last minute essentials, to help keep you comfortable in the strong Mexican sun.

As far as resorts go, choose Cancun for your last minute Mexico holiday and you’ll be straight from airport to hotel in no time at all.

Booking all inclusive will also mean that you don’t have to worry about a thing on arrival. All your meals, snacks and drinks will be taken care of, as well as selected entertainment and activities, so all you need to do is kick back and feel yourself slowly unwinding.

There’s no better feeling than bagging a bargain break, and snapping up a last minute deal to Mexico is sure to have your friends turning green with envy. So be brave, hold out and snap up those late availability deals in order to get the best possible price.

Melbourne Sightseeing

For me, Melbourne is one of the beautiful cities in Australia. It is actually the capital in the state of Victoria. It is also the most populous city in this state and the second most populous in the whole of Australia. For sure, when we will be visiting this city, we need a place to stay. Unless you have some friends and relatives who will heartily welcome you in their homes. But don't have to worry there are, cheap melbourne hotels who will always welcome us during our stay. I am included here because I still did not visit this city.

For now, all I can do is read and share about its famous sights. Here the sights I wish to visit in Melbourne.

Federation Square

This is the first in my wishlist to visit in Melbourne. It is a major square in this city. You cal also find here the Federation Square Building with its unique architecture. It is considered to be Victoria’s second most popular tourist attraction.

Luna Park Melbourne

I always love parks and garden and I am very sure that I will love this place. Luna Park Melbourne was opened on 13 December 1912. It is a historic amusement park located on the foreshore of Port Phillip Bay in St Kilda, Victoria.

Eureka Tower

It is the tallest residential building in the world. You can have a wonderful panoramic view of Melbourne at Eureka Skydeck. If you have fear on heights, better not attempt to go up.

The Royal Exhibition Building

Another worthy to visit is the Royal Exhibition Building located in the Carlton Gardens. The buildings and the gardens belongs to the list of UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004.

Of course, there are still a lot of sights to see. This is only my partial list. I believed I can visit this city one day.
