The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral in Cebu City, Philippines

This is the The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral located in Cebu City, Philippines. It is the ecclesiastical seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cebu. The construction of this cathedral started in 1689 by Bishop Diego de Aguilar.

This is is one of the sites that is worthy to visit in Cebu. This image was taken during my vacation last 2010.
The architecture of the church is typical of Spanish colonial churches in the country, namely, squat and with thick walls to withstand typhoons and other natural calamities.

Little Fountain

We visited this place last weekend. I was wondering why there are already some wood fences in this area surrounding this fountain. Now I know because they have some goats for sightseeing to kids and children. That small fountain can be bigger when there are big activities and festivals in this area. It seems that I just visited England last month. It's been more than a year now since I spend some weeks vacation in England. I have been to different places and cities there. One of the most interesting experience I had was when I witnessed the Lord's Mayor Parade in London. That was awesome! Here is one of the images I took.

Have you been to the Philippines? Have you seen the beautiful beaches especially in Cebu City. Here is a very beautiful scenery taken at the 21th floor in Hilton Hotel in Mactan Island, Cebu. This is such a breathtaking view. I love it and I was there last Dec. 2009 and January 2010.

If I am not mistaken, this monument I posted here is located in Chamberlain Square in Birmingham, England. I took this photo personally during my visit last year. I almost forgot to post my SWF entry. Here it is, the famous London Eye which I guess is the biggest ferris wheel around the world. Please correct me if I am wrong. Don't you know that it takes around thirty minutes for this big wheel to turn around completely. Around 18 people can also stay in one capsule! truly amazing! I am happy to ride in it last year. WW: The Fountain in the Garden of Willibald Castle in Eichstaett, Bavaria

I know I am quite late for my Watery Wednesday entry...but I always say "better late than never". We visited last weekend Willibald Castle. It has a very nice garden where there is a fountain in the middle. I also found a lot of flowers which are foreign to me. I took some photos of it. From this garden you can also see the whole city of Eichstaett which is located in the state of Bayern or Bavaria, Germany. It was a very nice trip last weekend.
