The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral in Cebu City, Philippines

This is the The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral located in Cebu City, Philippines. It is the ecclesiastical seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cebu. The construction of this cathedral started in 1689 by Bishop Diego de Aguilar.

This is is one of the sites that is worthy to visit in Cebu. This image was taken during my vacation last 2010.
The architecture of the church is typical of Spanish colonial churches in the country, namely, squat and with thick walls to withstand typhoons and other natural calamities.

Inambakan Falls Cebu, Philippines

This is a great place to stay especially when you are having a very hot summer day like what we have now. Sad to say, I am thousand miles away from here. This is Inambakan Falls in Ginatilan, a town in South Cebu, Philippines. I had been there once during my vacation to the Philippines this year. What a lovely place to relax here!

Inambakan Falls is said to my 30 meters long. The water is so clear and clean in here.

Little Fountain

We visited this place last weekend. I was wondering why there are already some wood fences in this area surrounding this fountain. Now I know because they have some goats for sightseeing to kids and children. That small fountain can be bigger when there are big activities and festivals in this area. Have you seen a German Mail box? We have another form and color of our mailbox. The mailbox e is where we usually drop our mails if ever the post office is already closed. Primrose, Saintpaulien Flowers

Hello everyone! How is your Sunday? I hope you are having a wonderful one. I am writing this quick post to share a picture of Primrose or Saintpaulien or Saintpaulia flowers as it is called in German. here are the beautiful pictures of primroses. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Primrose plants are easy to grow. They prefer cool weather, and full to partial sun. Soil conditions vary from rich loam to average soils, depending upon the variety. Mix in plenty of leaf mold prior to planting. Add leaf mold, if available, each year as a mulch, and to fertilize the plants. Drought tolerant varieties are very popular as ground cover in dry areas.

The Garden in The Old Castle in Bayreuth, Germany

This is the Royal Garden in the Altes Schloss or Old Castle in Bayreuth, Germany. We visited this garden last August 2009 and had a walk around the castle. The gardens here truly fascinates me. When I live near place, I would probably go walking here everyday. The entrance here is free and you are allowed to take pictures too. This is one of the pictures I took from the garden.

Coconut and The Sea

I use to pick-up one coconut a day every time I wake-up in the morning. In addition to this, the sea waves add excitement every time I do it. Now it is over! It's been almost three weeks now since my long vacation in the Philippines is over. That was truly a very memorable moment spending time with my family and loved ones. This morning I was trying to find a collage maker site who can help me make a collage for my vacation pictures from the Philippines. It seems that I just visited England last month. It's been more than a year now since I spend some weeks vacation in England. I have been to different places and cities there. I thought Euphorbia pulcherrima, also known as poinsettia or Weihnachtsstern in German has only Red colours. I already saw pink last time. Yesterday I saw these colours golden and yellow.
